I just want to know... WTF is wrong with Republicans? What playbook are the working out of? This isn't "Project 2025" this is just... bad performance art. Are there no conscientious members left in that party? All I hear is... the cruelty. "If we can make a (liberals) life miserable, we've done our job!" They seem to forget that what they are cutting is impacting EVERYONE. Liberal and MAGA alike.
Rade, in answer to your question from my perspective. no, there are no conscientious members left in the ole GOP party, now heavily infiltrated by MAGA mutants and trumpites, who are hellbent on destroying the very foundations of a government that has worked through 250 years to define a true democracy. john thune and mike johnson are worse than those that preceded them and will never see the light of day until that light is extinguished forever. This performance art to which you refer is the true definition of blind allegiance and ignorance to a man so unworthy to be serving as the leader of our country. I have my doubts, too.
The magas think all those industries and the jobs that come with them will come roaring back to the states. Not realizing their cherished oligarchs will run it all with their cheap labor of low wages, no benefits if any, social security accounts the oligarchs will control and no worker safety or say. In the meantime, the world will boycott and ignore the USA and there will be no market for what the USA manufactures as more and more countries develop their own consumer and industrial capacity and trade among themselves while leaving the USA out. The ignorance and insanity of Trump, his administration and the magas will be their downfall and that of the USA. Well said as here in Canada we are looking forward to export more of our natural resousces somewhere else like in Europe or Mexico etc. What your dumbass orange genius isn't understanding is that if Canada stop sending aluminum, steel or oil, USA will have a somewhat stop of its production of goods like cars or home appliances to name those. Sending our lumber wood would also make US housing in peril and make costs skyrocketing. For our hydro electricity exportations to NYC or Boston etc, shutting the lines of power will make those suffer during hot summer time and make their power bills go up. USA need Canada but the WH genius is scrapping our many decades of friendship and mutual economic exchanges which will hurt many Americans. Not surprising that some states lear our border are tempted to join Canada... Proud Canadian here and will never be an American.
I have never been so disgusted and only knew that when I left the USA 25 years ago to live abroad for a better life I hadn't any idea that the ignorance of the people who follow this man, who doesn't have any scruples for his own country or the people except the 1% of his cronies and their pockets who are dragging the democratic system to the graveyard without a coffin. It's not the Country I was born in or was made to believe in, it was all bullshit
Trump is telling us to buy American cars. Why does Japan, a small country, need big cars? They can't be driven on narrow roads. Even if he doesn't consider these things and says it's unfair, we won't buy them. Absolutely not.
Doesn’t anyone in USA see what is happening Russia, China and North Korea are playing Trump like a fiddle while Trump plays his golf they are teaming up for the demise of the USA and their so called friend will be number one to go. The new world order will not be including the United States. They want the collapse of the American economy to make chaos and no one will realize which way to turn. He’s not hurting anyone with these tariffs just making chaos so that they someday soon might be knocking on America’s doorstep.
