When Felon 47 saaid that Zelensky did start the war he shows how ignorant he is about FACTS. Now from today the FACT is that HE did begin the economic war of tariffs against his North American allies, Canada and Mexico. Damage to our economy and the USA's one too.

ReplyDeleteOh, but the "tariffs" are putting people back to work! The car companies have been scrambling to move more production from Mexico and Japan for the models they sell. Even from China and similar for GM. So AMERICAN workers are going back to work, as a result. Figure on that being said, T taking full credit for that, at his speech tonight.
ReplyDeleteStrangling the federal EPA and other car-related oversight/policy makers has some car people yelling about all of the things they can now do legally, further polluting the air we breathe. Making cars lighter as they don't have to meet safety standards, too. Some "brats" are getting the freedom to express their power and performance capabilities at will. Can't forget the diesel guys who like to "roll coal" just because they can. So T's is "their hero" for these things, understandably.
Just as a majority of the people in the infield area of Daytona are confirmed T voters. That parade lap was something THEY wanted to see. Most were not paying attention when Bill Clinton made a visit to a national Mustang Club event during his Presidency! Or when Obama said, when asked what he drove, "I drive a good car. A Chrysler 300."
So T was playing to his "red meat base" with that lap at Daytona. No more, no less. It served no other function, related to "world peace" or the war in Ukraine. Just pleasing his base. The "showman" he perceives that he is.
As to what he has been doing since taking office, he put many of the authors of sections of Project 2025 into cabinet positions to enact that document's directives. He claimed on the campaign trail that he had little knowledge of or had read it. Not reading it was probably true, but he knew what was in it, no doubt. His "I haven't read it" comment made many feel better about voting for him, seemingly, but NOW they are seeing how destructive Project 2025 really is for the government and its citizens who have depended upon government to "take care of them" and "protect them" from bad actors in many segments of our society. Claiming to "fix" things which might need some tweaking, but are not fully broken enough to do what they are desiring to do, by observation. Especially when all of T's henchpeople do not know nearly as much as they perceive they do about the organizations they are seeking to destroy. Government can be made more efficient, IF somebody wants to pay for these upgrades and changes to computer systems (which means Rs have to approve spending that money!).
In the meantime, we are being reminded just how much about governmental operations that T+E do NOT know. Yet they THINK they do, and that is all that matters to them . . . until they quickly find out differently. In the private world of business, they got away with lots of things that, when seeing the full light of day, were not good except for them. Playing "the victim" only goes so far before people finally realize that everything these people want to destroy are really the "good guys" looking out for our best interests (which includes the DOJ and Judicial Branch). Or at least those who desire to uphold their oath to protect the constitution and not beholden to any President who apppointed them.
I am tired of really stupid people running this country.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the world will put Trump and his administration in their place, and not soon enough. Trump and his shills will soon find out how our economy is very dependent on the raw materials and components produced in other countries, not to mention agricultural products and food.
