America four years from now will likely be unrecognizable as fascist ideology and reich wing billionaires re-shape the country into a white supremacist nightmare and the rest of the free world no longer can trust America to be that "beacon on the hill".

By my comment I can have peace of mind I didn't vote for the Party of Rot. And the billionaires? Frustrating thing is the rest of the world will now suffer from deluded and frankly ill informed American voters who have given our democracy to billionaires and fascists and white Christian nationalists. Their policies impact not just Americans, but the entire world who can do little about it except impose their own tariffs and thus plunge the world into a recession or worse. ReplyDeleteSOMEBODY in the schools they went to didn't tell them that NO US President can tell private companies what to do or what to charge for their products. The same companies whose directors keep voting themselves raises as their company stock prices keep increasing, due to . . . . what? Profits?
Guess what, I suspect that the vast majority of those board members align with "conservatives", too.
Hopefully, these new voters will realize they voted for a "con man" who does not keep his word. By the same token, if their parents had hired somebody who didn't keep his word about things, they would have fired him long ago for "non-performance" issues. Yet they voted for Trump again. The "American Fascination" with the rich and wealthy is alive and well! Fascinating enough that they voted for higher costs for themselves and others!
Don't be surprised if our democracy dies during these next four years as republi-fascists and reich wing Congressional sycophants work tirelessly to gerrymander, stack the courts, suppress voting and generally make all but certain that free and fair elections are a thing of the past. They will guarantee that republi-fascists will win no matter who is in charge. The orange A-hole will eventually be replaced but the replacement will use the MAGA template from now on......We were warned during the campaign but the majority of American voters chose chaos, crazy and criminality over a party attempting to improve life for all Americans. Racism, misogyny and ignorance are alive and well in much of America. God help us all!
ReplyDeleteAs an average American male voter in his 60s, I would just like to apologize to the rest of the world for what is about to happen starting Monday at noon… You can rest assured I didn’t vote for him, but we actually do have stupid people in this country who don’t educate themselves and do their research… So again I’m sorry and I feel extremely bad for what is about to happen… May history and the historians forgive us…
