It is totally amazing how simple these plans were compared to "the current in thing" plans!!! They can be modernized with different exterior finishes and roof treatments, plus massively more robust insulation for low operating costs. Put some money into nice landscaping and they can be "The NEXT big thing!"

ReplyDeleteI was amazed that the first one had no dining room, but the other plans confirmed my observations that in that era, they wanted big dining rooms, bigger than the kitchens. In the last plan, the dining room is bigger than the living room!
