  1. I am not going to condone murder; Mangione premeditated and carried out an assassination. Let's stop with the 24x7 news coverage of his perp-walk.

That said, Trump reneging on his promise to lower the costs of groceries, and then allowing Musk to run rough-shod over the GOP in Congress which killed the bipartisan spending bill that would have kept the government and hundreds of thousands of Americans secure through the New Year, along with Amazon contract delivery workers striking for better pay, is not helping the argument that the rich are just clueless assholes. Not to mention the air traffic controllers being forced to work without pay during the height of the Holiday travel season. It should come as no shock to anyone that the gun-owing MAGA morons who will be deeply impact (farmers, for one) will consider it open season on our 'Merican oligarchs.

    1. Even before DonOld's inauguration they are already showing that oligarchs and wealthy billionnaires are in charge of the country. Melon Musk isn't even an elected man and ils acting like he would be the president. His latest X tweets to block the budget in Congress is a slap on the face of those elected in Washington and is revealing that money is now ruling USA which is nothing new but now it's in plane sight to everyone to witness.
There are now no limits for this billionnaires oligarch administration to impose anything so they can get more money for their friends.
Good luck Americans, I mean the 99% working class Americans.

  2. Toppling the top is the only way it's going to change. Before that happens we're going to see it get much worse - especially now that crypto has crept into the scene.

    1. Crypto, the speculators dream sceam.
Just take a look of what they have done to real estate through the decades. And there will be no regulation, and it gets much worse. They all want torte reform so you will have no legal recourse for harm or damages to you, and they will be free to rip you off and you lose everything !…:(

    2. NEVER I would trust that crypto currency.
My best friend in France, last April, when his mother passed, he enhirited $200 000 (150 000 Euros).
Few weeks after putting it in his bank account, he had a phone call on his cellphone of a man telling him he could make more money by investing in crypto money.
My friend did trust this anonymous man and invested some of it ($30 000) at first.
After a while he saw it was doing good so he invested the rest.
Surprise is that he could never reverse it to cash back his money and worse the man ( or woman because he never spoke to the same UK guy) told him that to do so he had to pay a «taxe??» of $8000 to be able to do so.
Finally he was hacked by this hoax.

    3. JiEL - What a sad story. Your friend should have been smarter than to fall for that.

    4. <Yes and my friend is very much regretting to have been fooled by a hoax on his cellphone. Must say that this 61yo friend is very sick from cancer and brain sezure too but it's not the reason for him not to get an advice from his bank manager.
