Which definition of "pornography" might they desire to use? That can be a debate in itself. Their "simple answer" to a problem that might also include straight guys looking at nude females in its "snare".
ReplyDelete"Ruining lives" can have different definitions, too, depending upon what "ruin" might mean! IF a 16 year old male looks at a naked female and starts to j-o, did that ruin him or expand his horizons about his body? There are many other ways The Internet can ruin lives than just by availability of porn online!
IF they want to include the use of words as "genitalia", it can make one wonder IF they've read The Bible cover to cover. Or the mention of sex acts in that book, too? Removing The Bible from the approved reading list might be hard for them to explain.
Project 2025 is just the tip of the iceberg,
ReplyDeletethere will be another Republican contract ON America. Tort ‘reform’ is another area of the law they promote, you would lose your ability to sue for damages, even wrongful death ! Wether it be food poisoning, defective products that harm or kill, the expropriation of your house or other property, bank and financial ripoffs, discrimination of any kind, you would be left with NO legal recourse. The corporate states dream :(
Vote Blue this November, it is imperative!
- Rj
Yesterday, in the privacy of my own home, I sat at the dining room table and did the second most important thing I will do in my lifetime. I VOTED! Living in Washington State, we are one of the few states that votes by mail. So there I am with my Primary ballot and voters' pamphlet, coloring in little rectangles with my blue pen and voting BLUE down the line(except for the non-political positions, then I vote for the hunkiest guy or prettiest woman!!!) When I was finished, my ballot went in to its security sleeve and then in to the postage paid envelope, signed, dated and then driven to the big red drop-off box on my way to the grocery store. With Louis DeJoy, the Postmaster General appointed in 2020, who was a major Republican Party donor and fundraiser for #45, I am very apprehensive to trust the USPS to deliver my ballot to the county elections office. Washington State also has a Track My Ballot online website so I know when my ballot is received and accepted. No long lines standing in the heat or rain at fewer polling places made possible by voting restrictions imposed in many red states. It couldn't be easier and should be implemented nationwide IMHO.
ReplyDeleteI said this was the second most important thing I will do in my lifetime, the most important thing I will do is repeat the process in late October with my General Election ballot with the voices of Ann Richards(I loved that silver-haired broad), Paul Morris and many others echoing in my head. We have to get this Ship of State turned around and this will only be a start. So much doubt and damage has been done by the right to the credibility of the election process that all elections going forward will be contested and challenged when the right loses, demanding recount after recount in an attempt to prove the results were rigged and falsified. It's not going to pretty. DO YOUR DUTY FRIENDS, VOTE EARLY AND VOTE OFTEN!!! Please disregard that "often" part. LOL
Cdadbr & Rj & Milleson - All very good comments! It's to our detriment to not vote BLUE.
