ReplyDelete#2) Guys if you can guys look up on YouTube, "Little Richard interviewed by Donna and Marie Osmond. If you find the one I did, man the struggles that he went through. I gained much respect for him during that interview. Hope you are resting in peace Richard, you deserve it. Donna and Marie are a class act within themselves.
#3) What a comeback for this gutsy guy. What a voice, what an honest guy. Well-spoken as he matured. Wonderful singer and look at those gorgeous eyes. Me and my boyfriend (at the time) took my sister and her friend to see him in concert in 1984!!! Oh, and some great later interviews with various talk show hosts.
Last one) I could be very wrong Rick, but you had a pic of him in a vintage pic naked, not too long ago, and man it was a good one. My apologies if I'm wrong. I'll try to find the posting. I'm pretty sure it was a "vintage posting"!!
Thanks Rick!!

ReplyDeleteMy apologies, I referred to Donny and Marie Osmond as Donna and Marie Osmond.
Well Scott from Mass, my friend, and I do consider all Rick's commenters as friends, I beg to differ with you on your assessment of Little Richard. That troubled man flip-flopped on being a gay man so many times in his career that you can't count the times he denied and then acknowledged his homosexuality. And he found god and strayed from god just about as many times as his gay issue, whenever it was convenient to insinuate himself into the good graces of the church. Read the Wikipedia article about him and you'll see another side of this multi-talented man who paved the way for many like him to gain acceptance in the field of pop music. He was a very disturbed, sexually ambiguous and frustrated man.
