  2. Interesting these were "stone" houses, rather than lumber? Quite interesting how compact, square, and simple the floorplans are!

  3. This will answer the question of why there is no bathroom in the last plan:

    (chamber) It's just an old word for a bedroom. It was replaced by "bedroom" when washing stands and chamber pots were replaced with separate bathrooms
