DAMN! This should have been posted two days ago...
Denial is easy for a segment of the U.S. population because their groomers and trainers have done an impressive job of controlling thought in these animals. As Kellyanne Conway in 2017 so chillingly put it, [There are facts and there are] "alternative facts". Tell them what they want to hear and they'll believe it to the end. Which is where we may be heading if this lunacy isn't stopped soon.
The Holocaust was REAL and FACT, a bloodied page in history. How many times I read accounts of the horrors of the camps and the mistreatment of Jews and others. And the Germans did not act alone, others were just as complicit as willful collaborators or hate filled and ignorant neighbors who had it in for others. A list of events in different cities and countries - Budapest - Jews run down to the terraced banks of the Danube River and drowned by local anti-semites. Mayors of towns down river complained to the government about the dead bodies washing ashore and contaminating the local drinking water. Croatia - Home to the blood thirsty and dreaded Ustase whose atrocities even made the Germans flinch. Their leader collected gouged out eyeballs and severed testicles from his victims as sick souvenirs. Linz- School children would mock Jews and others being sent off to the Mauthausen concentration camp from the towns rail depot. Lithuania - Jews and others made to jump off the roofs of buildings to their deaths, those that survived were shot execution style. Netherlands - Home to Anne Franck, not only did they terrorize the Jews, during the war they flooded the polders and thousands of Dutch civilians starved to death. Romania - Home of the Iron Fascist Guard and the anti-semetic League of St Michael whose members gleefully terrorized Jews in Bucharest and the villages. Soviet Union - So many deaths in every terrible and unimaginable way. Some Soviets believed Hitler would liberate and save them from their own tyrant Stalin, were they ever mistaken ! Tip of the iceberg of Nazi terror, and today the Holocaust deniers are at it with their twisted LIES. They always say Hitler and Nazi Germany was misunderstood, but you notice the deniers never question the atrocities of Japan and the tyranny of Emperor Hirohito and his militarist Tojo. * They should reopen the concentration camps today and send all the deniers there to go through what innocent Jews and others went through, you and I know they would cry out for their mothers and curse at God. - Rj
Frequently forgotten about the Holocaust are the more than 3 million gypsies who were also victims of it...The hundreds of thousands of disabled people...The hundreds of thousands of leftists, unionists...The hundreds of thousands of homosexuals... And the most terrible of forgetfulness: that of a large part of the Israeli population and a large part of the Jews of the rest of the world who have been doing to the Palestinians what the Nazis did to them since 1947...
How can anyone deny that this happened?! Will we ask ourselves the same question when Israel gets rid of all the Palestinians? In these 70 or so years, they killed and displaced more Palestinians than Hitler did Jews. And all they had to do was give them a state....just like the Jews got it at the expense of others.
I've heard a few trying a new tack now saying that the Holocaust actually DID happen but that the numbers were MUCH smaller than reported. They say things like, "Have you seen Auschwitz? There's no way you could fit millions of people in there. More like hundreds or maybe thousands..."
It would be pathetic if it weren't so literally nauseating.
