The "HOPES" and "FEARS" items are very accurate. Only thing is that many posibly-saner Republicans voted for "the party" rather than "the person" when they held their nose and voted for Trump. NEVER to admit their error to anyone, if at all. And WE see where it got us, yet they will continue to support Trump, which is only compounding their initial error!
Many have already found "a way out", as others don't feel they need to, continuing to support him. Sooner or later, the voters will finally understand that they need to fess-up to their earlier errors and look for somebody who can really lead, IF they understand what that really means. Republicans have been promising "better alternatives", but NONE have ever appeared. In the corporate world, that would be grounds for dismissal.

Cdadbr - There really should be performance reviews for both parties.
