I lived in Germany for several years and my German friend was excited to show me his pictures from being on holiday. I reviewed them and they were on the beach. They were ALL naked. I mentioned it to my friend. His response was "Oh, your an American!" We both laughed at the cultural differences.
Why are there so much meshugas about male nudity? We are more adept to show all stages of female nudity without batting an eye. I really don't want to see that.
While we are at it I am tired of men who show male nudity in films using penile prosthetics. Come on!!

ReplyDeleteYou just nailed it as in USA most of your citizens are «Christians» and worse, white mysoginistic men who will have hardon over naked women and even two women having intercourse.
In Europe many countries aren't such religion minded and nudity is just a normal thing. The best of those countries are the Scandinavians countries and France.
In a French movie they show full nudity in love scenes and the man would be going out of bed fully naked. NOT in USA's most movies where couples are makint up in bed half clothesed and the XXX scenes are shown like with a blanket over them. In the morning the man will get up wearing his boxer...

I noticed in the past that many American gay men like to comne to Montreal in our gay village because in our gay strip male nude dancers bars, the dancers are showing it all, naked on the stage and those Americans were going crazy to see it... LOL!
@JiEL Yes---America is twisted in our sensibilities. We still have the mindset we are in the Victorian age. I have seen a few love scenes in American movies and even on television that are not believable. Women usually don't have sex in bed with men with their bras on. And yes, getting up with underwear on. Come on, let your freak flag fly.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw naked men dancing in a gay bar was in DC. Now I have been to a few gay bars in my time. Never seen the men nacked. I walked in with a friend and I said gasping out loud "Oh my god, they're naked!!" And the response was "And your point is?"
