ReplyDeleteAs much as some have complained about Biden's Presidency, he has done MORE to bring these older atrocities to life than any other US President ever has. With the sub-text that we ARE ALL EQUAL and always have been. Which might explain why trump's "good people" white nationalists don't like him.

It was a perfect time to watch (or rewatch) "Till," and we did just that. It's a good film. Flawed, but good.
ReplyDeleteI'm almost speechless to this as when I think of some latest killing or bad threating of some black people in USA (George Floyd as an example) I'm not sure that racism ideology is really evolving in the best way in USA.
ReplyDeleteWhen a dog is sent over a black van driver who was surrending his arms up, well the image it shows to me is a slave owner sending his dogs to chase his black slave.
Racism and xenophobia is a plague sadly weakening the USA that was supposed to be the «Land of the Free» to achieve the American Dream of Liberty for ALL...
We the Poeple isn't yet there for many US citizens considered as second class ones.
The maiming and torture continue... but now it's called Law Enforcement.
