  1. Sadly, donations from his supporters have increased since his arrest began. At least, that's what a newscast said in Italy.

  2. Actually, on the right-wing blogs I look at, the Trump indictment is getting surprisingly little attention, even though wingnut "news" sites like Gateway Pundit have really been pushing the story and trying to whip up outrage. Trump is pretty exhausting, even if you're on his side. Maybe a lot of the Trumpanzees are getting more tired of him than they're telling the pollsters. I certainly don't expect to see much if any rioting when he's finally arrested.

  3. Republicans are famous for their "All for one, One for all" Three Stooges orientation. Plus their apparent "Vote with the President at least 90% of the time" orientation, lest you get an opponent WE back in the next election.

So the put all of their eggs in the basket for Trump. A former Democrat, who turned "conservative" (for whatever reason), with LOTS of "baggage" who could bully his way to get what he wanted. Making other viable candidates look bad on stage, in the process. So all of his former tv show viewers, who apparently thought he was great, blindly follow him, send him money, and even spent their own money to be a part of the insurrection. ALL to please HIM for what benefit? Jail time??? Can't they see these things coming??? Rational thinkers??? Sounds like they should have failed "US Governemnt" in high school!!!!! As he said he could do things he was prevented (or should have been prevented) from doing. Such a disconnect!!!

Then there were the evangelicals who followed him to get what they wanted . . . a more conservative Supreme Court. Following him even though to do so invalidated many religious teachings, to which they replied that they knew he was "a flawed man". But they followed him anyway to get what THEY wanted.

So many disconnects to get to where we are today. Now they are claiming their world is up-ended with the long-awaited (THEY should have seen this coming!) indictment. Just a formal accusation, no more, no less. Yet they are crying about it on national tv. Such a soap opera!

  4. They call it "politicization." But, of course, they are the ones doing it. But, the sad part? That the media is giving it all that air time. How ridiculous that we saw (over and over and over) Cheeto leaving Mar-a-fucko and followed him to the plane, the take off, the landing, the motorcade (ridiculous in itself) to Dump Tower. No wonder other candidates can't get any traction. The media is obsessed with this clown and his circus.

  5. Xersex - I've that, too.

    Infidel - He's exhausting alright.

Cdadbr - Soap opera for sure.

Pat - Yeah, why can't he be declared as persona non grata?

  6. WTF is going on with GOP, his followers etc that they are still support this kind of false face «man»?

If one of our poloticians have done a fraction of what he did as a «bad stuff» this one could NEVER even think of goinf for any office in Canada.

We once had a General Governor, the one who here represented the Queen, who had to quit his office because someone found out some pics of him in the 40's as he was in college, wearing a nazi svatika as a holloween costume. It was enough to give his resignation.

Seems that USA's justice system is really rigged.

  8. I won't elaborate more than saying "it's about time a (hopefully first in the list) indictment came up.
Just like Pat: love Randy Rainbow. Except this one does not look like a parody at all ;-)

  9. In my opinion, the indictment of T. will do more harm than good.

  10. I heard he even wanted the mugshot to play the victim more effectively.

  11. Randy Rainbow is such a talent. It's a great feeling to know that we live in a country where he can perform his satire and that it finds an eager audience. Just finished his touching and humble autobiography. He's earned a worthy place in political commentary and social satire.
