Were you able to determine which post it was from your archives or did it disappear if you have other means of knowing which it was? Looks like Blogger Community Standards people are heavy into procrastination, or drugs. Whatever...
ReplyDeleteIt makes no sense. But I was permanently banned from Facebook for a comment I made years ago about wanting to air-lift Donald Trump and drop him feet first into the mouth of an active volcano, just to start a grease fire. Zuckerturd’s minions decided it was a credible death threat and banned me for life. Hehehe!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I periodically get jailed for remarks the supposedly don't comply with their nebulous "community standards," sometimes in the same month in which I made the comment. But you...you're my hero!
DeleteThis has happened to other folks, too. It's totally ridiculous; the algorithm is so fucked up.
ReplyDeleteAnon@8:17am - I was able to look at it, but don't remember which one now. It was just the usual bunch of naked men.
ReplyDeleteWinnie - Good going!
Pat - The algorithms have lost control of themselves.

ReplyDeleteI just don't understand, leave us alone. I'm a man that loves to look at men clothed or unclothed, and deeply appreciate the guys that give us these great blogs, get over it. Go bother some real criminals.
You're right that Blogger's algorithms (run by Google) are out of control. I schedule my posts in advance, and occasionally Blogger will "un-publish" a video because it doesn't meet "community standards." If I change the name of the video file and re-publish the exact same thing with a different file name, it doesn't get flagged again. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteSimilarly, Blogger regularly marks comments on my blog as spam that are totally unobjectionable, with no profanity or anything. It's out of control; it just seems random. The worst part is that it doesn't just check new comments; it marks old comments that were posted on my blog weeks or months ago as spam. This doesn't happen every day, but often enough that I have to check every day for spam comments so I can mark them as "not spam."
Larry
Larry - That's very strange, indeed, about the videos. Spamming messages that have already been published is nuts.
ReplyDeleteBig Dude - Gosh, you made me blush. :-)
Big Dude - Oops! I just realized you weren't talking to me.
ReplyDeleteThe future of AI is looking increasingly scary!!
ReplyDeleteWell, at least they are cleaning out their inbox----
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate it when folks post they have 2000 unread e-mails? Like it is a badge of honor. It's not. It's rude. Just delete them and try to do better.
PS--I got permanently banned from Twitter because I saw a picture of a hot guy-can't remember who-who was being sweet on by some other guy. I said that I would bitch slap the guy and squeeze in beside the hot guy. Being cheeky. Twitter stated that it was threatening. I appealed but to no avail. Retorical-Have you seen what is on Twitter these days and who has regained their posting privileges?
ReplyDeleteLOL. Well... they must be bored. And have lots of time on their hands. Or... someone reported it. Probably the latter. I have found if I remove all the links to other sites, then they reapprove it right away.
ReplyDeleteWell, nice to know that they're keep up! 8D
ReplyDeleteMan, talk about asleep at the wheel! Yeah, sure. Go ahead and delete it. My readers back in 2011 will probably be disappointed but I'm they'll get over it.
Geez!
