Oh my goodness. That picture of the more factual representation of the Last Supper should be troubling to many people, but won't be to the religious fanatical "believers." Consider this: Had Joseph looking like he did and Mary looking like she did, given birth to a white, blue eyed baby, wouldn't the baby be considered a freak of nature and feared as some kind of demon? And wouldn't Mary have been stoned to death for bearing the demon seed. And wouldn't Joseph at the very least be banished from the area or at the worst be crucified, which was the practice of the day for criminals? Many questions still to be asked and most of them will have logical answers.
ReplyDeleteNo.2 I saw on History channel a scientific reconstitution of how would look like Jesus and it's quite revealing as this photo of the Last Supper.
ReplyDeleteThe image of Jesus was throw ages transformed in more white man because many reasons and one of them is the fear of Jews and middle east people.
This also shows how ridiculous is the white supremacy movement in USA based on those false religious believes.
The last one is just what we did in Canada in the 60's on the politic scene and in our society too.
We don't need any religion to tell us how to behave with our people.
We have many social advantages that are, no matter religion, going in the path of Love, Charity, and Hope for ALL our citizens no matter race, religion or sex.
#5 & #6: so true
