ReplyDeleteI remember learning in history lessons here in Province de Québec when I was in high school that the «GREAT» America was built by his «melting pot» where all people from any countries could come and achieve their «American Dream».
Seems that in 2022 and for decades it is more becoming the «American nnightmare»..
In addition to the autcion notification, also consider the movie "Mandingo", too.Immigratoin from the south will always be an unfixable issue! Obama tried to make things better where the immigrants were coming from . . . expensive and did not work. Trump tried to make it work, not knowing what or whom he was dealing with, even treating them badly and separating families . . . but that did not work and damaged many people in the process. As we all know, his "Big, beautiful wall" was a waste of time and did not work, either. Some might claim "IF Trump can't do it, nobody can", YET they talk bad about Biden for not doing more! There are opportunities to use the immigrant labor in a good way for the nation, but nobody seemingly wants to consider that.

ReplyDeleteI long ago realized that "hard work will get you ahead" is bullshit. Hard work makes the rich ever richer. My Italian cousins laugh at Americans' obsession with work.
