Incredible in the supposed most democratic country in the whole world.
ReplyDeleteHate and violence not to forget money are now the main values in your Evangelical Christian society.
No need of such a list here in Canada and in my Province de Québec.
We just had a provincial election last October 3 and all was peaceful and no violence seen here.
We have a 5 parties which were in that election which give the chance to vote for a more diverse political options.
To say it again, our Canadian Conservative Party is more «liberal» than you Democrat Party in USA.
Funny fact, our Liberal Party of Justin Trudeau has RED for color and the Conservative party has BLUE for color.
NDP have ORANGE for color.
Green Party has GREEN.
And Block Québcois has a pale BLUE for its color.
Took a break this p.m. from many projects to vote my ballot and then walked it down to a drop box a mile from the house. Wondering if there would be a jacked-up pick-up truck with MAGAS monitoring the location, but no one there to intimidate me. In the past I would just mail it since Washington State is a vote my mail state, but now take it to a county drop box because that DAMN DE JOY(appointed by you-know-who) is still our postmaster general and would not put it past him to have like-minded mail carriers do some ballot hiding, destruction or other such nonsense. And we also have an online ballot tracking website that lets us know when our ballots are sent, received at county level and accepted. It's so simple I give no one an excuse for not voting, but they still will miss their chance to give a damn. Stupid, apathetic public.
ReplyDeleteMilleson - Good for you! Jerry and I voted a few days ago. I wanted to put it in a drop box but he felt the USPS was safe enough. We talked with a friend yesterday who said he had a concern that someone could fire-bomb the drop box to destroy ballots. What a country we've become to have to worry about these things.
ReplyDeleteThis list of hotlines is a great Idea, but there are only 40 states listed. What happened to the other 10?
ReplyDeleteJayar - Gee, I hadn't even noticed that. I wonder, too.
