I really don't know what to say, right now!! It did catch me off guard when I heard about it today. I'm going to miss him. Oh the laughs he brought me many a times on Will & Grace!! He won an Emmy for his part on W&G as Leslie Jordan may you RIP. I really didn't know he did all the acting that he did. He was in a play type of movie that was very good. I will try to find the name of it. 67 too young, and a car crash. Well I will say right now, that he seemed like a very likable gentleman. Man, a hot looking dude he was in pic#11. Tonight I'm going to learn more about him.
I am so thankful that you post these tributes to our celebrity loved-ones because I have stopped watching broadcast news and tend to miss these when they occur. This guy was such a natural funny man, effortless timing and I have enjoyed him in all his incarnations for many years on TV sitcoms and many movies in which he co-starred and usually stole the show. However, I only had seen him in the later years, the aging cherub with the thinning hair. I did not realize that in his youth he was such a beautiful hot, hairy daddy man! Howzer, could I have gone for that!!! He was a winner and will be as long as we have movie channels and re-runs on cable. Thanks again, Rick, you did Leslie Proud.
Leslie Jordan was in a play/movie called "Southern Baptist Sissies" , I thought it was very good. It came out in 2013, but I just saw it a couple of years ago.
He was a trip and a half. Thank heavens Will and Grace isn't on anymore....He and Megan Mullally as Karen Walker stole the show as arch nemesis's.

RIP Leslie Jordan. You were an unparalleled talent, who will live on in our memories, and all forms of media.
ReplyDeleteHe was a sweetie. And I think he was brilliant.
ReplyDeleteScott - Thank you for that title. I want to watch that!
ReplyDeleteMilleson - Thank you for the compliment.
Sordid lives is one of the funniest series I have ever seen -
ReplyDeleteOne of those deaths that's a sucker punch to the solar plexus. The world is a whole lot darker without Leslie in it.
