Ça reste une sorte de discrimination.....aucun hétéro ne fait un coming out auprès de sont entourage....personne n a besoin de dire : je suis hétéro et alors..

ReplyDeleteHere in Montreal Canada, no «national coming out day» as it became in our habits to have gay men or women in our work places or friends or families etc...
ReplyDeleteIt's even mainstream to have LGBTQ people around us.
I'm openly gay man here and never had issues about it even as a high school teacher. We were 5 LGGTQ teachers and all was fine with it in my high school.
The Montreal School Board (CSDM) did provide us with legal protection in cas we had some prejudice issues. We were then protected but also by our Canadian Charter of Rights and Librties over all.

ReplyDeleteHAPPY NATIONAL COMING OUT DAY!! Honestly Rick, thanks for the reminder. It's 2022, and I still live in a small closeted town. So you young and older that come out today be STRONG and PROUD.
Rick, when I came to this posting I automatically started singing to myself these songs:
#1) "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross
#2) "I Am What I AM" by Gloria Gaynor
#3) "Coming Out of Hiding" by Pamela Stanley"
Last pic) Oh sugar sweet buns, do you need help holding up the flag?
#3 nice face
