Canada and my Province of Québec are religion free in the way we do our politics.
Saying this it's special to not say funny that we have universal healthcare system, many workers that are unionized, a social security system to help the poorest of our citizens, provincial car insurance to pay for people injured in car accident, no fear to have an abortion for women, a post birth paid time up to 6 month for women and men to take care of their new born child, same sex marriage, LGBTQ country wide protection, prescription provincial system and prescriptions cost as low as possible as our federal government did have law to oblige the pharma companies to lower their meds etc... etc..
We aren't that religious people for many but we care for our citizens no matter their income or race or sexual orientation.
