It would seem that if everyone watched this little movie, all the hate would melt from of all the hearts in the world and we would be as happy as these wonderful beasts. Sadly that would not be so. More's the pity...
ReplyDeleteMilleson - I totally agree.
ReplyDeleteLaughed and cried at the same time!
ReplyDeleteNot enough stars for this one! The video coupled with "Annie's Song" is perfection. Thank you for lifting my spirits and giving me a reason to smile.
ReplyDeleteIs there a direct link to this youtube(?) video you can share?
ReplyDeleterc7448 - I hope it was a happy cry.
ReplyDeletePat - You are very welcome.
Joe L - This is not a YouTube video, it's an mp4 that I managed to capture so there's no direct link. However, when I searched YouTube for "baby elephants playing", quite a few popped up.
Thanks a million Rick for this one!
ReplyDeleteJust like rc7448 my eyes got wet and I'm holding on the to the smile it gave to me.
Oh if only us humans could be more than these actually fantastic beings.
Laurent - Most of us lose our joy when we become adults. (Maybe I should just speak for myself.)
ReplyDeleteThanks sooooo much for posting this. It is beautiful and precious at the same time. We need more of this. Letting animals be themselves is the best.
ReplyDeleteLove it, post more.
I'd forgotten how lovely that John Denver song was... and what a sweet video. I wish they could all be kept safe and live happy free lives.
ReplyDeleteNow you know I love elephants!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe first baby chasing the Guinea hens around I had seen before and never manages to not make me laugh!!!!!! Baby elephants are quite a hand full. They are even more cleaver and mischievous then our human counter parts I think some days.
Thanks, Ricko...this tickled me tonight!!!!
Jerry - Yes, this video was very sweet. And ya know, just this morning I was thinking of posting little movies on a more regular basis. Monday, if I can remember.
ReplyDeletePearly - You are most welcome.
Hopefully, this’ll bring one or more viewers to consider a vegan diet. There’s not a big stretch from elephant to cow or pig. Seriously. Think about it. (Please don’t sarcastically dismiss this thought. Thanks, gents.)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely enthralled by the elephants, if you need any more proof of the absence of a ‘creator’ , look no further. Why would any god who cobbled together all living things not just stop at elephants, what a wonderful place earth would have been if they’d been the pinnacle of creation.
ReplyDeleteCheers
Andy in Oz
love these playful elephants!
ReplyDeleteAnon@9:14pm - I know a few of my viewers are vegan. If everyone ate a vegan diet the planet would be much better off, not to mention the animals. My partner and I ate a pescatarian diet for about a year. Then we brought chicken back into the mix, but only rarely. The only time we eat red meat is when we go to a restaurant, which isn't all that often. I call myself a very conflicted carnivore.
ReplyDeleteAndy in Oz - That would be a very interesting world!
Thanks for posting my comment and for your reply to it..! I’d no idea. Thank you, Rick and Jerry..! The animals and the planet thank you, too..!
