Are anyone noticing that this has a taste of «shariah law» ?
ReplyDeleteI read that some Red state repukes were trying to write legislation that would make child support payments illegal - so men wouldn't be encouraged to force their girlfriends into abortions. 'Course federal law supercedes that so it went nowhere. The asshats will try anything.
ReplyDeleteJiEL - Of course!
ReplyDeletePat - Those people make me sick.
It seems that IF REpublicans and Religious People would use the litmus test "What if it was MY daughter with an unwanted pregnance?" BEFORE they sought to make everybody do their bidding? Would they themselves then seek out a "quiet way to deal with it", make the daughter and "the boy" get married, or send the daughter "for a vacation" at a home for unwed mothers . . . not unlike things seemed to be done back in the 1960s. Or take a quick trip to Mexico!
ReplyDeleteFunny how the "party of little government" seeks to put "government" much more deeply into everybody else's lives in this nation!!!! As they keep finding ways to demonize Democrats for trying to help people!!!
Anon@3:55pm - They do not use reason, nor are they reasonable.
