GUNS are a REAL issue in your country and putting «mental health» as a main cause is irrelevant as in ALL other countries there are no problem about mental health BUT there are NO GUNS going at large in their population.
ReplyDeleteIn Canada it's illegal to purchase any assautl weapon and, frankly, who needs those mass killing weapons??
Our Canadian governement has pasted a law to ban those and will put 756 million of dollars to buy them back from anyone who owns one. This will go on till October 2023.
AND, we never had such thing as a «Second Amendment» in our 1867 Canadian Constitution.
PS.- Our issue with guns is that those are coming illegally from your country.
JiEL - If guns are coming into your country illegally, there must be a market for them. Cancer tends to spread.
ReplyDeleteYes but here, the ones who are looking for such weapons are mainly criminals.
ReplyDeleteWe RARELY have mass shootings and our Federal Mounted Police are vigilant over our USA's borders, specially near Montreal where there is a indigenous reserve through which any border crossing smoggling is going on like drugs, cigarets or weapons. Alot of those are stopped and recuperate by our border police.
We had some gun shootings in Montreal or Toronto but those were done by pistols and teenagers of street gangs.
We RARELY have such mass shooting as in your country.
