In a blatantly political attempt to force her to change her pro-choice position, the Archbishop of San Francisco proclaimed that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi cannot receive Communion. Fine. The tax-exempt status of churches is conditional on their staying out of politics, so it’s time to tax the Catholic Church.
Of course, the ritual of Communion is absurd, but that's another issue. The Catholic Church claims that a cracker literally, not symbolically, becomes the body of Christ, which is obviously false to anyone with a brain. Folks, wake up, this is a cult!
