It's such a shame that this Ron DeSantis is going on with such idiot politics in Florida and also with the ones ruling almost the same in red states like Texas.
ReplyDeleteI went to Florida in 2000 and it was such a gay friendly place that I'm surprised it came all the way back to past fear times of the gay people.
There was the Pulse mass murder and I also thought that gay life in Florida was easy but now with this non sense politic to arm LGBTQ kids in school it's looking like he wants to reeducate and change their real sexuality at birth.
There is so much to do in USA about racial and gender or sexual rights.
I always say that it's like a cha-cha dance depending of which parti is in charge in states of Washington.
Thank God, I live in Canada.
JiEL - You're very lucky indeed.
ReplyDeleteI'm a retired teacher (since Jan.21 2011) and I often see in our schools, high schools or primary schools for older students, some gay guys, a gay man and a lesbian coming to meet the students and give some speech about being gay.
ReplyDeleteThey were very much welcome and never hesitated to answer any questions coming from the kids or teenagers.
They are part of the «G R I s« group which mission is to help LGBTQ youth to deal with their sexuality.
In Canada and in Montreal where I live LGBTQ is part of a «normal» life and there are no taboos about being gay. It's not perfect for sure but we feel safe here to live our style of life and younger guys are no more afraid to say that they're gay.
Also, our Canadian Charter of Rights and Liberties is providing to ALL Canadian the safety of their race, religion or sexual orientation since 1982.
I think we should start referring to him Rhonda Santis...
ReplyDeleteAll it takes is one dictator to change everything, and this tool is just the one, I guess... Anyone else but me think that DeSantis looks like Mr. Operation, from that game? Where are my tweezers? I want to remove his brain...wait it's already missing... LOL
ReplyDeleteUncle Vic - That's a good one!
ReplyDeletehsgisme - I don't see that similarity but he IS trying to set himself up as the winning dictator.
I will happily repeat that last one... to his stupid face.
