Sunday Fractal & GIFs...
I accidentally noticed something very curious about this GIF. When I looked at it straight-on it was moving at a casual pace. But when I looked away from it, my peripheral vision caught it spinning faster.

The serpentine movement of the entire image is moving at one speed and the racing bands of the whites dots are moving at a faster speed. Your peripheral vision is seeing the more rapid movement.
The same thing for me too. What's that say about us?
