You are absolutely correct, Rick. Roe is only the beginning. The Right-wing conservative judges that Cheeto rammed onto the courts with the enthusiastic help of Moscow Mitch were put there to overturn all cultural progress made since the 60s.
It's a shame. When other democracies are on the ropes, freed from oppression and coming up out of authoritarian rule, it was always America and our allies to step in and help keep them stable until the country could find it's footing.
...who is going to help America?
If... decent... citizens can organize and work together; not succumb to petty agendas, it will take at least two generations for the US to reclaim and rebuild our democracy from these scumbags.
Unfortunately, these scumbags have already done irreparable damage to the underpinnings of our democracy. We're on the brink of toppling in the next 1-3 years, and Trump will be on top again - this time the GOP will ensure it will be for the remainder of his life or that of his surrogates. I wholly expect the GOP will provoke a civil war before all is said and done - all with well armed, white trash as the militia. The GOP has discovered this wonderful sensation that neither the Constitution or our governing laws apply to them. They can say anything and do anything - rape (literally), pillage and plunder, and reap all the rewards and pay none of the consequences.
I just hope to live long enough to see this shit storm end.
