And in Colorado, 2020 doubters are urging their followers on conservative social media platforms to apply for jobs in election offices.
A year after local and state election officials came under immense pressure from Trump to subvert the results of the 2020 White House race, he and his supporters are pushing an ambitious plan to place Trump loyalists in key positions across the administration of U.S. elections.
The effort goes far beyond the former president’s public broadsides against well-known Republican state officials who certified President Biden’s victory, such as Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey. Citing the need to make elections more secure, Trump allies are also seeking to replace officials across the nation, including volunteer poll watchers, paid precinct judges, elected county clerks and state attorneys general, according to state and local officials, as well as rally speeches, social media posts and campaign appearances by those seeking the positions.
If they succeed, Trump and his allies could pull down some of the guardrails that prevented him from overturning Biden’s win by creating openings to challenge the results next time, election officials and watchdog groups say.

I will always be flabbergasted to hear and see how the election officials can be so partisan mainly with Retrumplicon's in official voting system.
USA seems to not be able to maintain «objective» and non-partisan elections and election's officials. Even on voting day, GOP is constantly rigging the election voting places and tries to scared «color» voters to exercise their legitimate voting rights.
USA need to do a huge clean sweep in voting system to avoid all those ways to rig elections.
Things you'll never see here in Canada and other «real democratic» countries where our voting system is safe of any partisan interferences.
On federal and provincial voting systems we have independant general directors of elections that are like election rangers to seek frauds and insure that our voting system law is well applied.
PS. The latest mass shooting in Oxford high school in Michigan was another proof that in USA, guns and weapons are et HUGE issue. When a 15yo teen can reach some guns and ammunitions and go to kill randomly other teens this is another alarm bell. But sadly these kind of bells seems never be enough to open the eyes of your law makers in Washington and in all your states.
For three months now, here in Montreal, we had 3 teens murdered.
One, a black 16yo killed by a knife. This young man was a good kid, no crime history on him.
Two, a 15yo arab girl killed by a lost bullet. She was at the wrong place and on the wrong time.
Three, a 15yo cute white teen killed on a sidewalk at 10pm just for nothing.
He also was a nice kid with a bright future.
The police said it was a street gang challenge to join the gang.
That last one did move all our governments in Canada on the guns and weapon issues. They did put in place some financial and regulations help for all our police departements to fight that plague of illegal guns and weapons.
What came out too is that those illegal weapons are coming from USA accross our borders, mainly through some native reserves that are on our borders.

The fact that there are politicians pushing this stuff isn't what scares me. There are ALWAYS miscreants and warped lunatics ready to game the system for their own corrupt ends.
