Yes for many years there are two USA. (I have misfeelings when you use «America or Americans to name your country or people. As a Canadian like Mexicans, we also are «Americans» but no United Statians....)
Those of the «white straight Christian» people side are now to afraid that the other part of the more emerging colored and educated US people will never let them in power all over USA and in Washington.
They're now fighting like hell to maintain their white supremacy even agains the USA's Constitution and democracy.
Sad times for USA ahead.
