no.6 It's a crater lake here in Province of Québec up of the Manic 5 dam on the Manicouagan river. It's wasn't seen before Hyro-Québec had built the Manic 5 dam.
As the reservoir behind the dam grew the O shape appeared.

So it showed that it was made by a huge meterite that came down on Earth million years ago. The north part of the country has one of the oldest rocks formations on Earth named the «Canadian Shield» (le Bouclier Canadien).

As you can also see, our province has many lakes and rivers too. Hydro electricity is one of our richness and we export alot to east states of USA.

It's said that we have more than 3 000 lakes and over 1 000 rivers up here.
Since the 60's htydro Québec did build many huge dams on many rivers like on the Mancouagan, Outarde, Churchill, La Grande in James Bay to name a few.

All that clean electricity is providing to us cheaper electricity and safer power delevery too. Rarely we have power shortage.

JiEL - Thanks for all that info! I knew it had to be an impact crater, I just didn't know where.
