Rick, one of your research detectives in on the job. The building is the Deloitte Headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. And a good Thursday morning to you and Jerry. Stay cool!
The webpage I Googled mentioned that the photographer intentionally used closeups of this space to challenge the eye of the viewer. It's difficult to tell up from down, left from right, leaving the viewer with a sense of floating in space and not seeing these stairs logically. By the way, I saw these photos are for sale from around $650.00 if anyone is interested. They sure have received a lot of attention from your viewers.

ReplyDeleteThat's real? Not an art installation? Wow. I'm not keeping that clean... just so you all know. Kizzes.
ReplyDeleteHow very Mondrian is this? I love it! And cool how you can change the light color.
ReplyDeleteTotally gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteNot too much info online other than the photos were a series taken between 2010-2012.
ReplyDeleteMilleson & Anon@9:31am - Thank you both! I must have been searching wrongly. :-)
ReplyDeleteHEY EVERYBODY - I just noticed that images 6&7 seem to be upside down. Look closely at the steps, they're not right.

ReplyDeleteMilleson - Yeah, I did happen to find the for-sale site. Too rich for my blood.
