Creepy stuff. At what point did we all start to accept the lie that the U.S. was a 'Christian' nation? Reagan? 1950's? I tell you, it creeped in there and nobody seems to have the balls to step up to the plate and refute it. Such garbage.

ReplyDeleteI often say that USA should get religion out of the public politics and government field.
ReplyDeleteWe in Canada and in Province of Québec did ban religion from our politics for decades (in the 60's).
Last weekend, there was the Conservative party rally and the new chief, Erin O'toole, is a progressive man and had to fight against the far right religious people of the party to pass that we are in a global warming situation.
He did also assured that he was pro choice for abortion and again got almost stoned by those ulstra religious fans of this party. Those are mainly from Alberta and Saskatshewan kind of Texas thinking.
So Erin O'Toole wants to be able to be prime minister on next election which can me as soon as this Spring but said that no one would vote for his party in the other provinces IF the Conservatives continue to put outfront such retrograd and anti science politics.
For USA, more than time to get over religion and see that as said here, prayers won't stop all the killings in your country.
IF Love is part of your religious main believes, well maintaining that rediculous Second Amendment that is a antiquity of another century is against your faith.
Stop looking to your USA's navel and go see how countries like Japan or Australia are managing gun control and how many mass shooting are there.
Even in Canada, we have very rare mass shootings.
Our new concern from our federal police is the importation of guns and weapons coming across the border coming FROM USA..

Our Conservative party has no choice to change their views on many subjects of social politics.
ReplyDeleteHere, the Liberal party is known as «RED» and the Conservative party is known as «BLUE». We also have a NDP (New Democratic Party) known as «ORANGE», the Green party of course «GREEN» and the separatist quebecor party name «The Block Québecois» with also a «BLUE» color.
Must know that our Conservative party could be compare to your Democratic party in some ways.
