That is some Nazi era propaganda there. So... they are guaranteed a physique, but not a damn t-shirt? And then the shorts with the color rating system... way to build self-esteem. Wow. No wonder Phys Ed sucked.
ReplyDeleteuptonking - Yeah. The only thing I liked about Phys Ed was the showers.
ReplyDeleteOMG! Thinking of me at that age when I was a «twink» and didn't like Phys. Ed.
ReplyDeleteI was more at ease in a swimming pool.
As a teacher, I was in a private high school for boys for 17years.
Some of those who was in my classes like 15 to 17yo were sport fans and some were already quite fit for their age. Not mentionning that theyu had more hairy bodies and beards than me. This school was all about sports too.
JiEL - I like swimmers!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I hated the colored shorts thing... white, then green, and for the athletic elite, gold. There may have been red in there. I mainly recall humiliation of being assigned by the PE teacher to teams when we played team sports, as guys in white shorts NEVER got picked. Degrading! I got lucky in 11th grade when I broke my arm and didn't have to change into my PE shorts for two months. I was assigned to pass out clean towels while sitting up on the end of a row of lockers, facing the open showers. I'll never forget one guy, particularly well endowed, who would often spring a boner in the showers, just to show off. While everyone thought it was hilarious, I had to move the stack of clean towels onto my lap! :-)
ReplyDeleteAnon @1:24pm - OMG, that is an excellent story! Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting
ReplyDeleteAh yes high school locker rooms. I remember sneaking glances at my fellow classmate's semi-hard-ons as they came out of the showers. One guy I had a crush on was especially well endowed. Another classmate, who I found out later was gay, had his locker so he had a full view of the showers. I was never that brave and hid further away. What if they caught me looking? I never did shower after gym but oh the memories of those dicks of the guys that did.
ReplyDeleteLuke - I remember those days.
ReplyDeleteSome years ago at a high school reunion a long time class mate and I were talking and I mentioned that I was gay. He looked at me and said "DUH we all knew that". This was in the 1970s and nobody was open out in those days and if you were you would be bullied and even face getting beaten up. I asked him how he knew? And his answer surprised me. He said "when our PE class was showering you never joined in the jocularity in the showers. In fact you never even looked at other guys. We were all checking each others cocks out trying to figure out who had the biggest dick. Some guys were even semi hard. We all noticed this and wondered why? Some of the boys thought because you were uncut in a class of all cut boys that maybe you were somehow embarrassed because your dick was deformed or something. I guess not too many of us had seen an uncut cock in those days. Others figured you liked dick and didn't want to get hard. " It seems in that time period it was ok for straight boys to act gay, but not the gay boys!! The other thing that amazed me in hind sight [no pun intended!!] was how tolerant they must have been of my sexuality, especially when you read and hear of horror stories of what others endured in that time. I was trying so hard to hide it but in doing so it was so obvious to others.
ReplyDeleteAnon@7:31am - Another wonderful story! If only we could have been our real selves back then.
