1903 Pullman Six-Wheel
1911 Overland Octoauto
1972 Michelin Tire Car
Those are quite special cars.
ReplyDeleteThe last one looks to me like a Citroën modified.
Are these designs to help tire companies to sell more tires.. LOL!!
JiEL - I don't know anything about the two really old cars. But you are correct that the last one is a modified Citroën. It was built to test truck tires.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rick, this DS is A-ma-zing!
ReplyDeleteMore than 9 tons and up to 180km/h (thanks to Chevrolet for the two V8 engines).
It seems the world has once been much more funnier to live in for engineers :-)
BatRedneck - You are welcome but, I don't know what "DS" is.
ReplyDeleteSorry, 'DS' was the name of the generic model of the car. In French it sound like Déesse => Godess
