In MY opinion, it's very reassuring that Xersex and you, Rick, can have differing opinions that does not result in each of you breaking windows of each other's homes and attempting to take each other hostage or kill each other! Maybe people like us just see things differently, and thank goodness we do!
I like the geometry of this building. The set backs could use trees and or gardens. It does however look like a big machine. I can just see students being extruded out of the square holes like meat in a meat grinder. MIT might have used a design to make it look like something that students could live, work, or learn in rather than something to endure for four years. I kind of think this design falls into the Brutalist category.
