2020.1116.0003...
I wonder what that odd blue splotch is, left of center.
I don't know what that is, but the second to last reminds me of things you'd see in the clouds. That rock formation reminds me of a fossilized elephant.
Beg pardon Rick, thought the comment from you was about the ice chunk, not the last picture. It's becoming harder in the digital age to distinguish between reality and artistry. I'm thinking that this picture is either digital or an ambitious painting and the blue splotch is just part of the composition.
Hi Rick, have found a better quality version of the cave scene, the “blue spot” is actually just by a light box , it’s where the light on the roof of the cave is coming from, your “blue spot” is the light hitting a near by outcrop on the cave floor..
Lovely photo, but would have been better with a couple of guys going for it in the foreground!
Beautiful nature studies! Kinda looks like a chunk of ice that broke off a glacier or ice shelf. Glaciers are that color.

ReplyDeletelove those landscapes
ReplyDeleteMilleson - My apologies; I should have mentioned that I was talking about the last picture. But you figured that out. Still is a mystery.
ReplyDeleteBlue splotch, left of center? It's called Georgia.
ReplyDeleteuptonking - Haha, I can almost see that.

Anon - Ah, I would not have thought of that. I'll search for a better quality version also. Thanks.
