2020.0727.0001...
Well, it has finally happened: Blogger switched us to the new interface. "Intuitive" my ass! I couldn't even figure out how to create a new post there, so I switched back to the old interface. But that's going to be replaced permanently with the new - "improved" my ass! - interface by the end of August. I also couldn't figure out how to send them a message letting them know how f*cked up I think their new interface is.

I haven't gone there, yet. Not looking forward to it at all. Most of the time they change things just to change them, not for any actual improvement.
ReplyDeleteI hate computers and especially the techies who haven´t enough to do to truly make our lives better but just more complicated with "new improvements"! I live in Mexico where life is pretty simple and few spent life chasing unreal dreams. I detest when El Norte makes changes for the world and we all must suffer another "fabulous improvement" that upsets the apple cart worldwide. Simplify life, watch less news where you have no opportunity to assist in positive change and live to love your neighbors and receive back a sense of community. ReplyDeleteI dislike it intensely! I figure out how to enlarge photos. I too go back to the old version.
ReplyDeletewhkattk - They switched me over themselves this morning. At least I could use the old version to post today. Guess there's a giant learning curve in my future since the old version eventually will be discarded.
ReplyDeleteAnon - I totally agree with you!
Jimmy - Oh dear! Yet another feature that may be problematic.
ReplyDeletejust today I saw it and I have to say, and I found it less practical.
ReplyDeleteI have heard many times "if ain't broke don't fix it". Guess that doesn't apply to IT techs bored out of their minds. I'd laugh, but it gets scary.
ReplyDeleteXersex - I agree.
ReplyDeleteUnknown - Yeah, those techs don't know how changing things affects old guys like me.
