The problem is the is base is, for the most part, ignorantly stupid - they don't care about budgets and will, instead, eat another heaping helping of the bullshit that flies out his mouth.
As for donors - I suspect that THIS target audience are already the billionaires whom have made a fortune off his asinine administration. "Keep in office; we need more money!".
It's a lose-lose proposition for EVERYONE ELSE.
Rad - His stupid base will support him even while he wants to cut food stamps and Medicaid/Medicare/Social Security.
Ah-yup.
He no longer needs to soft-pedal. He thinks he's free to do anything and say anything because the RNC, the judicial system, the intel community, the senate all have his back. We are closer to a autocratic country than people realize. As Rachel Maddow said, "The rule of law is broken."
