The 500 richest people in the world, all of whom are billionaires, gained a combined $1.2 trillion in wealth in 2019, further exacerbating inequities that have not been seen since the late 1920s.

Indeed, why would he be embarrassed? Because of his outright bullshit claims of wealth.
ReplyDeleteThe largest gap since 1929 - - the year the Great Depression began. Will history repeat itself? Most likely. While the big banks are claiming the economy is "too healthy to go into a recession" we must remember they made the same claim in 2007 - - the year the Great Recession began. Meanwhile, the private equity firms are bracing for it.
