Post-6320...

Happy New Year everyone! (thanks Glenn!)

Well, last night, I was out for an evening with friends and had a few beers. Knowing full well I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before; I took a bus home. Sure enough, I passed a police road block, but since it was a bus, they waved it past.

I arrived home safely without incident which was a real surprise as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got it or what to do with it now that it's in our parking lot.

  3. Be careful where you park that bus, Rick[!].
Myself, I had a quiet and reflective Hootenanny [thats a British expression for a New Year celebration]; we have a silly tradition of opening our front doors on the turn of midnight and standing outside with a handful of coal and a silver coin, to welcome the New Year in.
Its a stupid tradition really, but I lost my mother as you know on the 5th December and I just wanted to wish her a Happy New Year that she wouldnt see, wherever she and my dear Dad are now [sniff].
Anyhow...hope this 2013 is kinder to us all and I wish you and yours a splendid New Year!
    [take that bus back btw].

  4. Love it Rick and by the way...I haven't been behind the wheel of a car since 1985; it's my part of trying to be "green."
