I dont know about these pics but they actually remind me of Lloyd Wright architecture. I studied it for a term at Cambridge and was entranced by how he built open-plan houses; houses which could be lived in outside as well as in. Quite a novel concept for the 1930s. One of his buildings was built under a waterfall and he designed the roof to let the waterfall actually come thru the house as an inbuilt water feature! The owner used to get up in the morning and take her shower in it. There was lots of glass and open space as in these pics and the gardens would extend inside and outside, and was enviromentally friendly too.
ReplyDeleteImagine stepping out of bed in the morning and walk straight into a waterfall for a shower! How positively decadent!
Karl - Too decadent for me. I toured a Wright house in the area once and it was okay.
