Cant say I know that much about Republicans...as far as I know we have a similar group here called the Conservatives [or Tories, for short]. In all fairness to us here in England, the previous Labour [Democrat?] government left us in a mountain of unsustainable debt and theTories are trying their level best to pay it off, tho we do have our austerity measures too. They were left a real mess behind by the last administration.
