Rick, I wasn't going to comment but here goes, my thoughts. The fact that you posted this photo may promp anyone who sees it to think about what they can do to help creatures like this who have no control. I use my pet food coupons to get as much food as I can and give it to a "no Kill" shelter here in east San Fernando Valley. It's not much but every little bit helps. I see this picture and tell myself I will try harder to get more pet food this week. Like Pollyanna says, think of something to be glad about.
My neighbor, Barbara, is 80 years young and volunteers at our local city animal shelter. She is always bringing home orphan kittens that need nursing until they can eat on their own and be put up for adoption. A little bit of help from everyone goes a long way.
I read it and didn't even notice. When I started commenting on blogs about three years ago the first thing that would get to me was to see that I had totally screwed up some words. Now I just laugh, I still misspell. The husband says, "don't you proof what you write?. Don't even go there! HA

ReplyDeleteIt is frightening to see an animal being treated this way, doi deep in the heart. Always gives me a deep hopelessness about the human being.
ReplyDeleteMike - Nice to hear the good that you do for animals. I'm a checkbook activist myself, giving a regular donation to ASCPA.
ReplyDeleteAnon - I feel the same way.

ReplyDeleteMike - It certainly does!
ReplyDeleteXOXO :)
ReplyDeleteMike - I just noticed that I spelled ASPCA wrong.
