  3. # 5- (L)Forrester Millard / Dorlac (1929-2011) and (R)John Tristram/Trenton (1934-1986) by Bob Mizer 1958.
Alleged to be lovers at the time, broke up because of public attitudes back then.
A love denied by the very conformist and complex 1950’s.
Forrester Dorlac was one of Mizer’s first models at AMG in 1946, he posed for Mizer off and on until 1959.
John Trenton was a merchant seaman from England before coming to the USA in 1956. They both posed for Mizer starting in 1958.
After their breakup Forrester got married and had children. Tristram was Mr Venice Beach 1962 and studied at UCLA. He later became a teacher of French and French literature at Los Angeles City College. An active bodybuilder he had a very diverse career as a physique model off and on from 1956-1970; posing first for Lon Hanagan, then through the years Anthony Guyther/Vulcan Studio, Melvin Sokolsky/Togoff Studio, Chuck Renslow, Bob Delmonteque, Russ Warner, Tom Nicholl, Jimmy Caruso, Gregor Arax, Jean Ferrero and finally Jim French.
Tristram died from AIDS in 1984.
Dorlac lived a long life, and several years before his death, was surprised people were interested in his career as a physique model when interviewed by the Bob Mizer Foundation.
