What is this fascination with nose rings and gauges? Just kills the whole aesthetic.
ReplyDeleteThat picture has many things going for it: that curly hair, the John Lennon glasses, the curved barbell in his septum and those "cherub's kiss" lips. I don't think some of us, me included, will understand these modern forms of body ornamentation(piercing, tattooing, body modification). It disturbs me if I can look through a person's earlobes.

Tatoo's I get, piercings in some areas though I don't get/ care for. But then again, I wore rather small rings on my fingers when I was a much younger man. I do appreciate that I didn't get much flack from the guys in the office. Only one nice older gentleman asked me why I wear rings on my fingers like a woman. But honestly, he was a nice guy, and I just said to him politely because I like too. He still always remained a close co-worker.
