If we can't live peacefully on this orb floating in space, why would anyone think inhabiting the moon in the future would be any different? Witness the atrocities and damage we humans are doing here on earth, it will be the same on that silvery orb. I'm all for research but this seems a senseless waste of money that should be used for the benefit of people who need it now, on this planet.

Just send a moon probe and a moon rover to explore, and save trillions of dollars.
