Went to the grocery store before Valentine's Day, bought a whole chicken that was 99 cents a pound 2 years ago, now $2.69. Bought a heart-shaped box of Turtles chocolates for a good friend, contained 9 pieces for $18.99, on sale for $2 off. Oh yes, we Americans are certainly reaping the benefits of this current administration's policies when it comes to the bottom 99%. People are struggling. If you live a comfortable life down under, good for you. Unless you've been in a tenuous financial situation, your comments ring hollow and hateful.
