ReplyDeleteThe saddest part of those raking in that much money? They'd never be able to spend it all.
ReplyDeleteHere's an idea, instead of never being able to spend their wealth, why don't they finance vanity projects with that money. If you're sitting on 900 billion dollars, instead of trying to make habitation on another planet possible, how about paying for construction of projects that would benefit us here on earth, right now. How about financing the much needed Columbia River Crossing project that is desperately needed on I5 in the Portland/Vancouver area. Offer 50 billion dollars to finance that project and let them name the new bridge(s) after you. You'll never miss the money. These multi-billionaires need to start being heroes and stop being hoarders. There will certainly be consequences to pay if they don't, at some point in the future.
