  2. Honest, humane and humble.
That’s what set President Jimmy Carter apart from our other presidents. Probably one of the few of our presidents who was truly fit for the Oval Office of the President of the United States. His fine character of honesty, integrity, and humanity will always be remembered. RIP President James Earl Carter ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ✨

  3. I surmise one of the last of the decent and honest politicians. Was always down to earth and of Mother Nature. Statesmen like him now a days are an endangered species, if any.

  6. RIP President Carter. We appreciate what you have done for the world, especially after your Presidency. We know you could have disappeared after the loss to Reagan, but you didn't. You kept on working for peace, fair elections, and affordable housing in diverse places on the planet. Thanks for all you did.

  8. San Diego paper said (truthfully, I believe) today that he was America's greatest former President. And, of all the Presidents who have received Nobel Peace Prizes, he was the only one who received the award for what he did AFTER he left office. Sad to see him gone. Glad he's now with Rosalyn again.
