Imagine! One bathroom houses!

@ LeftField.
The Lathrop is the only one with two bathrooms. The one on the first floor is just a service toilet room as it's now the case in modern two stories houses.
For sure back then having larger bathrooms wasn't in fashion as today there are more bathrooms with shower en bidet and two sinks etc.

@JiEL (LF here). I know right. And I have to clean all those crappers in my house!
Drives me batty!

Be glad you have multiple bathrooms. I grew up with nine of us and
one bathroom. Wasn't fun.

The bathrooms in the La Crosse, the Lairdesville and the Leland are too small, easily remedied by pushing the outside wall out 5 feet for more room. And of course an additional bathroom can always be added. -Rj

@GF, LOL! I did too. There were seven kids, mom and dad, Grandma and Uncle Buddy, when he wasn't in prison.

The Lathrop is everywhere in my neighborhood. Always liked its style.

The Lawrence would make a good boarding-house in a college town like in past times. Reminds me of the one time boarding-house in our town.
Professor Sinclair would insist that one of the college jocks serve him tea in the morning, sometimes he would be together with one of the jocks all day long on Sundays. Something to do with the professor’s studies on the human biology of the athletic male. :-)

@Uptonking, check this out. Not "exactly" in my 'hood (by about $1.5 million), but close. Love walking by this place.

@uptonking,
Did you see that this Lathrop design is the same as the one of «Amityville» horror movie?? A aunt of my ex BF lived not far frome that house on Long Island.
